A valued member resource, the online certification database is at your fingertips in the Member’s Area. Compare more than 130 programs around the globe by state/province, certification category or reciprocity. If you’re a certification contact, you’ll be provided with a password to update your program’s information.
Networking
A focal point to facilitate a network for environmental certifying authorities, ABC is a professional Association offering a channel for certifying authorities to communicate ideas, information and strategies that work. The ABC Regulatory Program and Voluntary Program membership currently include 45 states and 9 Canadian provinces along with other international entities.
Testing Service
ABC’s Testing Service provides nationally validated exams to support environmental certification programs. Committees provide technical support to ABC and its members by carrying out our extensive validation process and serving as an appeals board for challenged questions.*

Annual Conference
Each year attendees gather at our annual conference and regional meetings and use their expertise in the water and wastewater industry to share ideas, network with peers, and learn about current issues. Annual conference registration fee discounts vary upon membership level.
Publications
ABC provides information and assistance through its publications including an online, electronic copy of The Certifier. The Directory, Certification Program Standards, Need-to-Know Criteria and exam validation guidelines are key industry publications available to members.

Our members are entitled to special discounts, including reduced conference, service and publication fees. In addition, you have access to ABC’s internationally-recognized Testing Service.

To honor outstanding contribution toward establishing or advancing certification programs, ABC presents the following awards:
- Harris F. Seidel Lifetime Achievement Award – honors an individual with lifetime service
- Robert C. McAnespie Certification Officer Award – awarded to a member certification officer *
- Certification Program Award – presented to a member certifying authority *
- The Excellence in Service Award – presented to an individual or group for service to ABC
